Our mission is to provide long-term housing to empower women—with or without children—to overcome substance use and homelessness to build independent, self-sufficient lives.
Our vision is to foster a supportive home-like experience where women can reclaim their purpose through integrity, uphold their individual rights, share experiences, and empower each other.
We are proud to be the only long-term supportive housing program in Western Kentucky offering this type of supportive environment specifically for women and their children.
Our 9-month residential program provides a safe, structured, 8-bedroom home where residents can focus on building recovery capital.
Upon successful completion, women transition into our aftercare program, which helps them move into independent housing while maintaining a strong foundation for continued success on recovery capital.
During their time in the program, residents engage in a structured path of personal development. They receive guidance in securing employment and attend volunteer-led soft skills classes, empowering them to become active, contributing members of the community.
Our program is designed to break the cycles and generational curses of homelessness and substance use disorder, enabling mothers to remain with their children while fostering long-term healing and change.

KYARR stands for Kentucky Alliance for Recovery Residence. This process took our staff several months to complete this certification, and we are proud to be a certified sober living residence for the state of Kentucky.
